The league leaders showed us why the Eagles are sitting pretty well on top of the ladder.

Their execution around the ground and ability to finish with accuracy in the wet conditions was the difference in the game, and we will work hard to get better in these areas to close the gap.

The mid year break has come at a good time for us as a side and we look forward to getting into the second half of the season.

A strong team performance in wet conditions.

Our Younger players showed they’re finding their feet at senior level. Our mids strong at the player and football, and a backline that’s holding their own.

Good signs going in to the next round, stay strong win together.

Mini Colts

The pouring rain stopped just in time for the minis match, though with a waterlogged surface and slippery ball, our endurance and marking skills were tested out today.

Against a much bigger opposition, the Bays team stood tall. Brock worked hard in defence, putting his body on the line to stop Mclaren scoring and Arlo, with clean ball pick-ups, showed great movement in our forward line.

A good team effort with a noticeable improvement from our previous match.

Best Players: Jack J, Arlo, Declan, Brodie, Brock, Joel

Moddies U8/9s

Well, what a game! We were at McLaren Vale and boy did it rain!

It was a game full of pain and endurance, all the boys worked the ball well up the ground and were solid in defence all day.

The teamwork and effort put in, in these conditions was incredible. There were times when they all wanted a hot shower but they all kept at it for a deserving win!

Well done, Boys! I was proud of you all!

Best Players: Elijah Waller and Ryder Dobell

U14 Girls

This week the girls played at home against Strathalbyn

This week the multi-team was Victor Harbor, who brought 5 players down to help out.

It was a rainy, and wet day. Girls fought hard in cold soggy conditions. Again, the Bays are showing some really good team play, and training seems to be converting to the field.

Best Players: Eleanor, Hayley, Mahli
